Beverly Hills is a city in the western region of the city of Los Angeles. The area neighbors West Hollywood and is one of the most affluent areas in the greater metropolitan Los Angeles area. The estimated population of the city is around 34,980 and is home to many Hollywood celebrities and wealthy families.
The economic picture of Beverly Hills relies heavily on a diverse group of industries. Some of the larger companies in the area were even listed on the Fortune 500 list. Some of the larger companies in the area include Live Nation Entertainment, Aeroflot, and El Al just to name a few. The unemployment rate of the city has been hovering around 6% and is lower then the national average. In the latter quarters of 2009 the city had an unemployment rate of around 17% and was hit hard alongside many other areas in Southern California.

Office Space Rates:

Beverly Hills, California has some high end real estate, with many costing quite a bit more than other areas in the Los Angeles area. Despite the high costs of ownership, some options abound in lower prices for the purpose of retail space and office space alike. A recent survey of options in and around Beverly Hills yielded many results starting at around $700 a month for smaller offices in prime locations. Some other prime locations start around $2 - $4 a square foot for 500 square feet of space, which is higher than many other large metropolitan areas.

The climate of the area is in line with a lot of other locales in Southern California. The average temperatures are around 70 – 85 degrees most often, and there are plenty of sunny days. There are some extremes to be had including gusty winds and occasional storms, but nothing too extreme.
