The city of Burlingame is located in the San Mateo region of the northern part of the state of California. The city is located on the San Francisco Peninsula and has a great shoreline connected to the San Francisco Bay. The estimated population of the city is around 28,158 and continues to grow due in large part to its geography, commerce and rave reviews from analysts.
The economic picture of the city relies heavily on several key industries. The area has seen a growth in recent years with large companies being based out of the area, alongside the proximity to the San Francisco International Airport, giving job seekers many options in both small and large scale companies. Due in large part to the growing economy and large scale construction projects in the city, there are great options to explore for entrepreneurs of all types. In a recent survey of options in and around the area, prices for small offices started at around $595 a month. Larger retail options with many amenities were found at around $2 - $5 a square foot for up and over 1,000 square feet of space.

The climate of the Burlingame is quite similar to that of the rest of the Bay Area. The city gets a great deal of moderate weather with few extremes. It gets a lot of precipitation, alongside sunny days to counter the cooler weather.
