The city of Campbell California is located in the northern part of the state in a region known as Silicon Valley. It is one of the fastest growing areas in the northern California area and has a high concentration of large companies. The estimated population of the city is around 39,200.The area doesn't have the same concentration of tech companies in the area, but still manages to do quite well.
The economic picture of the city relies heavily on a diverse group of different industries. Although the greater region has a lot of technology firms, the city is home to more service related industries. Even though job seekers have a diverse array of options, some of the larger employers in the area include eBay, Pierre Omidyar, Pruneyard Shopping Center, and much more. Despite the diversity of options, the unemployment rate of Campbell is at 8.5%, which is higher than the national average.

Entrepreneurs looking for office space or retail space will find a plethora of options. Vacancies for rent and sale abound in and around the area for all types of business. A survey of the open options available to the public yielded many results. Smaller office options started at around $400 a month. Larger options were found at around $2 a square foot for both office and retail purposes.
The climate of Campbell is similar to that of many other northern California cities. The area receives a great deal of sunshine throughout the year, cooler winter months, but is not necessarily prone to receiving extreme weather. Storms and colder temperatures abound, but not in a significant manner.
