The city of Cupertino is a suburban area within the greater Santa Clara county region of the state of California. Located just west of San Jose, and on the edge of the Santa Clara valley, the area extends to the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountain range. The estimated population of the city is around 50,546 and has been growing quite rapidly in recent years.
The city of Cupertino is one of the faster growing parts of the Northern California area. It is known to have a diverse array of employment options for job seekers of all backgrounds to explore and take advantage of. There are many large scale technology companies in the area with a great deal of publicity towards some of the larger employers. Despite a huge number of tech firms, the city has an unemployment rate of around 5.8%, which is lower than the national average.

In a recent survey of vacancies many options started at around $550 a month for smaller spaces. Larger options were also found available at around $2 - $5 a square foot for 1,000 square feet and beyond. There are a number of variables that can shift the prices, but most are comparable with industry standard. The climate of Cupertino is pleasant with average temperatures not reaching too many extremes. Even though the area is in close proximity to the Santa Cruz Mountain Range, the area doesn't receive a large amount of extreme weather, although it has been known to happen.
