The city of Glendale, Arizona is one of the fastest growing cities in the Maricopa County area of the state. It is roughly 9 miles northwest of the city of Phoenix and is part of the greater metropolitan area. The city is a major center for commerce, industry, and more. The city of Glendale has an unemployment rate of around 7% and is just slightly higher than the national average.
