The city of Las Vegas is located in the region of southern Nevada in the Clark County district. It has been often times referred to as the Entertainment Capital of the World and is famous for its large centralized casinos, resorts, and much more. It is roughly the 28th most populated city in the nation, and is the most populated city in the state of Nevada. The estimated population of the city is around 558,383, and the greater metropolitan area is at around 1.8 million residents.
The economic structure of Las Vegas hinges greatly on gaming and tourism. There a great deal of employment options to explore beyond just gaming and tourism industries, but the area is interesting for job seekers of all types. The unemployment rate of Las Vegas is 6%, which is lower than the national average, and has seen some major improvements in recent months, despite some harder times in the recession of 2009. Real estate options exist in and around the greater Las Vegas area. With a great deal of retail and commerce concentrations around the city, it's interesting to note that there are a great deal of Las Vegas office spaces to explore. Some of the smaller offices in the city start at around $400 a month with many amenities and beyond.  Renting or leasing an executive suite or commercial property in Las Vegas Nevada is a good idea with the current vacancy rate so high.  There are some incredible deals available in the city with smaller spaces renting on average for closer to $400 or $500.  Another factor to consider is do you want a furnished office space unit, or would you prefer an executive suite that you can furnish and design yourself?  One rule when considering leasing commercial office space, is that if you plan on signing a short term lease - like monthly - then go with a furnished option.  Otherwise if you plan on renting an office suite (in a large office center or office park) for 12 months or longer, then buy your own furniture and maybe even hire an office interior designer to help you with the layout and flow.
