The city of Oro Valley is located near the Santa Catalina Mountains in Arizona. It is a suburban area that is roughly 6 miles north of the greater Tucson area in the Pima County region. The estimated population of the city is roughly 43,223 and has increased in recent years. The city was founded in 1974 and has been a hot bed for high technology, which is a major reason for the increase in population.
The city of Oro Valley has been growing in recent years and has been nicknamed the “Upscale Tech Mecca” of Southern Arizona. There are a great deal of options for job seekers to explore. The unemployment rate of the area is at 4.7% and is lower than the national average. A recent survey of available options yielded many results starting at around $500 a month for smaller office space in prime areas. Larger warehouse and storage space was available at around $1 a square foot for 1,000 square feet and much more.
