Business and City Services:
Culver City is an amazing city located in the western part of Los Angeles County. It has an estimated population of around 40,000 people, and since the 1920s has been a significant center for movie and later television industries. MGM Studios were once located in the area, and now the Sony Pictures, and Columbia Pictures studio lots are home in the city. Because of this, much of the Culver City executive suites are used by production houses and other business either in or servicing the entertainment industry.  Located just mintues from the beach and from Hollywood makes this area very desirable among start ups and young professionals, but before you decide to sign a lease agreement do a little research on local business laws and ordinances.  Culver City zip codes are 90230, 90231, and 90232.
Commute and Transportation:
Culver City is located just southwest of Beverly Hills and Century City, east of Venice and Playa Del Rey, and southeast of Santa Monica. The entire city has undergone quite a resurgence over the past decade or so, particularly in the downtown area, with the Culver Hotel, Kirk Douglas Theater, and Helms Bakery all getting major facelifts. Many of the cities major roads such as Venice Blvd, Jefferson Blvd, La Cienega Blvd, and Culver Blvd have either been widened or improved. Public transport in the area is provided by Culver Bus, MTA buses, and the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus. A light rail service known as the Expo Line that runs from Downtown LA to a station near Venice and Robertson Blvds will be complete sometime during 2011, and will eventually continue on to Santa Monica.  LAX is only about 15 minutes down the 405 freeway - depending on traffic of course.  The average Culver City climate is warm during the summer months with temperatures in the 70's, and cool during winter when temperatures tend to be in the 50's. Annual rainfall is 13.32 inches.
