The estimated population of the city is 38,309 and has been increasing in recent years.
The unemployment rate of Sun City, Arizona is roughly 7% and is only slightly higher than the national average. While the city has had hard times in light of the national economic picture, it has still managed to only be slightly hire in terms of jobless numbers than many other surrounding areas. Some of the larger employers in the city include Intel, Best Buy, American Express, Charles Schwab, and IBM, just to name a few.
